A Crowdfunding Project for Blue Dragon’s Emergency Appeal Fund May 2020

This little fundraising adventure sprouted in the early summer of 2020—right in the thick of the pandemic—as a spontaneous project I started to support Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, a Hanoi-based NGO doing life-changing work. Their mission is to help children escape crisis situations, from rescuing kids from trafficking to providing shelter, education, and job support.

With the help of kind-hearted supporters, the project raised 11 million VND in profit! After covering expenses, 9 million VND was donated directly to Blue Dragon’s Emergency Fund—where it could do the most good, right when it was needed most.
